During a Granada Television debate with Mr. Öpik MP (Montgomeryshire) on the Lucy Meacock programme a member of the audience asked Mr Öpik what there policy on hare coursing was. Mr Lembit Öpik a leading member of the Middle Way Group (admittedly any member is a leading member because they have so few) admitted they didn't have a policy on hare coursing and had not even considered it. This is pretty remarkable they had been formed two and a half years previously! Makes you wonder what they had been spending the Countryside Alliance's money on in all that time.
